I have a friend whom i consider the most significant in my life. She's not just an ordinary friend 'coz she showered me with everything she could possibly give. The loving gifts she has given me have shaped my life and made me the person i am. She takes good care of me when im sick and comforts me when I’m depressed and in trouble. She's so special to me because it is her whom i can lean on and whom i can open up my real feelings. It is through her guidance that i became a better person and found my real identity. And despite of my weaknesses, she accepted me as what I am.
My outlook in life, my sense of humor, my interests and talents, i can see her in them all. And it makes me happy and proud to know that the qualities in her i love and admire so much are all a part of me. Her sense of values, of fairness, of right and wrong. She's so significant 'coz she's always with me and part of me in my thoughts, in my heart and in the very fabric of my life she's always always with me. YOU'RE THE BEST!!!

I've always wondered why people seem to make such a big deal out of gay relationships, especially those that lasts fairly long. Except for the fact that thew couple in the relationship are gay, there is nothing unique about it that needs to be taken seriously... a long-term gay relationship shouldn't be based on sex alone. It should be about helping and nurturing each other. Each party should should have something to contribute in the relationship. What is amazing about this relationship is that we accept each other for what we are. "Tolerance" is not the word that i'm searching for, because it means to endure and to put up with. Acceptance is more like it--the recognition and acknowledgment that we are two distinct beings-- in a relationship that is unique and special not because it is "same sex," but because it is that to my partner and myself.
